If you are visiting the Black Hills, this is the only place to stay. Close to all attractions at a better rate than the surrounding campgrounds. Family owned and very nice, will work with you and are hands on. We selected this park from the Escapees book not knowing or ever having been to the Black Hills, what a choice, we were so happy with the park, full hookups with good Verizon coverage and wifi.

Nice clean little park. No amenities, so seems the $44 is a little high. They do not accept credit cards, so you have to pay by check or cash. Otherwise this park is great. The owner and workers are super nice and constantly work at keeping everything neat and clean. We were in space number 5 which gave us plenty of space with no one parked in front of us.

Rita was wonderful and the place was quiet once the daily HWY traffic thinned out. The campground is small, but come with full hookups and access to the 109 Mile George S. Mickelson Trail (MM58). It is a great place to park after doing a week of dry camping in the USFS or trying to be located central to all of the attractions in the Black Hills area. The WIFI coverage was fast for CG WIFI, I could easily stream on VUDU or YT.

Not realizing the 4th Of July was coming up, this was the only place that had a spot for the dates we wanted. Quickly, looking through the reviews, I noticed everyone was saying great things.
We pulled in and Ms. Rita came right up to us and welcomed us. She put us in site #1. She said she would move us to the back spot as soon as she could since we had 2 big dogs. (This place is very dog friendly). We really didn’t care which spot we were in. The whole place is beautiful.
After two nights in site #1 we moved to the back spot. (Not sure if it had a site number) It’s literally right beside the Mickelson bike path (which we thought was awesome) and there is plenty of room for our two wild beasts to run.
There is a beautiful creek running through the property and in some spots is deep enough for the dogs to swim.
The WiFi is hit or miss. I have AT&T and had 1-2 bars LTE. There is no bathrooms, showers, or laundry services but it’s a great base camp spot for all the local attractions.
Thank you Rita for your hospitality and thinking of our dogs.

We pulled up to the camp site after a long rive from Yellowstone and we were treated very rudely. We were told that we could not stay at the original site that was discussed. The whole place is only 8 sites and what the picture are not showing you is that it is right on the main road (very noisy).
We started looking at some other options when the lady who runs the place said "if you are still not sure, then maybe you should go". I replied by saying "that is not very nice" and she shrugged her shoulders and said "get off my property". Well that was pretty much it for us.
Also, since I am working remotely and this place only had 2 bars on Verizon and didn't have the service I was looking for.

A small park just off the highway but noise was not a problem. Rita the owner/host is GREAT. Park is clean and has great hiking available. WiFi was outstanding. We certainly enjoyed our stay.

I must have caught the owner on a bad day as my experience was not as good as others. I'll leave it at that as others have had all good review of the experience with her.
Sites were level with FHUs it a proper spot. Location close to Hill City which has some good things to see and do. Do go to Desperado's for the pork brisket and Mangiano's for breakfast (the Italian biscuits and gravy were AWESOME).
A little noise from the highway but not horrible. There was also a little noise from the business next door but shut down by 5 pm. I did not hear anything the following morning. We were reminded check was at 11 am (not 11:01).
Being close to Hill City internet was good.

So glad to leave today ! Owner rides around on her cart stomping out joy.
There are no restrooms, or showers, small spaces, a sliver of grass as a campsite. No one spends time outside of RV's little room to do much camping.
The day before we left, I hurt my ankle I limped up to the trash bin to dump my dogs poop before I had time to leash them, here comes the owner on her cart (not another soul was outside) she spoke to me like I was her worse enemy saying those dogs need to be leashed she glared at me as she drove her cart off. This place is OVER PRICED for awhile lot of nothing. If you want to have fun & enjoy your vacation avoid this place.
