Clark State Forest

This was a quick and easy stop for our road trip. We had a picnic, plenty of playgrounds for the kiddos to play on and the dog to run around.

So sad. We were expecting something but it's like a ghost forest. Beautiful surroundings that look abandoned. Only saw a few people fishing and the DNR. The campground looks as though it was once beautiful. Very unkempt. Whats the story? If your going to have a State Park, why not take care of it? It's such a tremendous waste! With the shortage of campgrounds in Indiana, this COULD be tremendous!

This State Park is absolutely breath taking! If you have time to cruise through the forest then it is a must see! Great for individuals or families! The views from the Old Franke lake is fantastic!
