Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on May 23, 2023This is a fun(ny) park. The staff is super nice, locally-owned, camp store onsite and in a great location on Canyon Ferry Lake. I launched my kayak from there. It's also far enough from Helena to have a nice camp feel, but close enough to Helena to get into town to run errands.
It's also a boat launch so there's a lot of traffic. Folks seem to have been there over lifetimes. There's a great bar across the street you can get food and drinks at within walking distance.
It's not fancy, there are no luxuries, use your hot spot, not their wireless network, and make sure you have a surge protector. My air conditioner really did not work there given the power situation. I have a polarity tester and there was never enough juice.
I used none of their facilities so can't comment on bathrooms and whatnot.

We are full time travelers in a class C and were looking for 2 days with FHU to do laundry and utilities. This place is primarily for full season trailers and boats. Only one other motorhome in the park. But they did accommodate us on short notice. The staff worked hard for us but was fighting the infrastructure. They did not have room for larger motorhomes. As such, their sites are not well suited for short term motorhome visits. Our site did have FHU but the water faucet had no handle. A pliers was used to turn water on and off. The voltage at the post varied from 104 VAC to 120. We had to use an Autoformer. I chose not to use the sewer on my site because my rig has a low outlet, even with auto levelers, and the sewer connection was slightly uphill by the driver's door. The sites were better suited to long term trailers with lots of leveling blocks. The park was quiet. Laundry was clean and worked fine. The store had good supplies. The staff worked hard but the park itself is older and needs a refresh if they want to attract short term visitors. I don't think this is their business model.
