Riverfront Park Campground

What a find. A place on the river. All you could expect plus a gracious host.
Walking distance to town. Clean and nice. Plus. ++++. A nature center.!

The preceding review was the inspiration to follow the Illinois River Road route & visit Havana while returning to Wisconsin from Oklahoma. Exploring the River Road Scenic Byway is worth a dedicated trip but we enjoyed seeing what we were able to. The campground was really nice, Debbie was very nice and the entire Riverfront Park was nice. The RV area is at the far north end of the park. Water & electric sites with a dump station oddly situated but convenient a block away. Tent sites with limited 20 amp are available next to the pavilion across the street from the RV area. This area, like most of the river valley, is in a flood plain so always check on availability.

We stayed one night on our way out west. The park was very clean and the host, Debbie, was very accommodating and welcoming.We camped right next to the river with a great view. Bathroom was clean and the grounds were well kept. We’d stay here again.

We came here on a whim, just in time for a car rally and concert. The RV park is great, well maintained and clean. Only has E and W but a dump station is nearby. Friendly little town that is being revitalized and it shows well.
