“A Center for Polish Culture, Traditions and Cuisine since 1930!”
The Polish National Home in Hartford, Conn., was built over 80 years ago to be a center for Polish American culture and community. While we are known for our food and the events we host, we offer so much more.
Located near the waterfront, this place doesn't look like a Polish restaurant or bar from the outside, but walk to the side door on the left (you'll see a sign for the Kitchen Hours) and you'll soon find a large bar and restaurant (looks almost like an old style diner) that serves up inexpensive Polish food, beer, desserts, and more. The establishment also hosts events, including live music. Check the dinner for hours and event schedule. If you have antsy kiddies in tow, there is a playground at the Elementary School next door (not open to the public during school hours).
