“Kampgrounds of America”
This KOA is located in the Big Sky Country where Lieutenant Colonel George Armstrong Custer made his last stand. Stay at this campground and visit the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument and museum and watch Custer's Last Stand Reenactment in late June. Don't forget Pompeys Pillar National Monument, Bighorn River, Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area and a trip to Yellowtail Dam. Stay in the grassy Tent Sites or level RV Sites and enjoy the swimming pool and horseshoes. Little campers can try out the playground swings while you visit with friendly neighbors. Grab a treat at the nightly ice cream socials. Let your pets roam the large walking area for exercise. Oh, yes - trout fishing on the Bighorn River is just a mile away. It's only a five-hour drive west to Yellowstone National Park and a five-hour drive east to Mount Rushmore. Open April 1 - October 15, weather permitting. Pool: June 1 - September 15. Max pull thru: 80 feet. Your hosts: Dave and Gina Trzebiatowski.
Run down. Wanted to charge us extra due to a mistake they made. Didn't stay. Two stars because we were offered a refund.
Great place to stay. Close to Little Bighorn. The staff is very friendly.
