Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on July 17, 2022The campground flooded 15 feet the night before we arrived and we were camping in calf high water. We ended up leaving rather than walk in water. They should have called and alerted us of the campground issues. No refunds. When I asked them to pay it forward to the next person booking they never responded to my email. I would not recommend.
Good for a flat place to sleep. Power and water worked great. Wifi seemed to be turned off at night but turned on in the morning. The game room and was not what we expected. The pool table had plastic over it, couldn’t find a tv, game system, or DVD player. Some old board games and a broken pac man machine. If you want to play checkers or Connect 4, you will be happy. The game room did not seem maintained or clean. Shower was fine. Bathrooms were clean. At dusk there are a lot of mosquitoes, so be prepared. Also, they let their dogs and cats roam the property. They are all friendly, but this might be a problem for some people. The owner was nice enough, but this place definitely wasn’t the destination it was advertised to be.
The choices in the area are small, but this isn't where we want to stay.
The office looks like a hoarder stocked it and the cat pee smell is so strong I had to cover my nose while waiting to check in. Owner is nice but talked bad about the other parks in the area, making sure we knew that having ice cream for their guests was their idea first, etc.....okay, just check me in!
She was good about moving us when we didn't have the 50 amp we reserved. The park was completely full. Some permanents, some work trailers with dozens of workers and their trucks. Weeds and stickers in the green areas. Old storage units in the back.
Site was level but after we got set up and the people moved in behind us we had to move the picnic table to get our Jeep out. Very weird set up.
Overall we just didn't like Hardin, and we like old, quirky small towns. No place to eat on a Sunday evening except three fast food places. Just didn't feel like a place we needed to stay any longer.
7th Ranch south a few miles is a superior park. Stay there.

Drove through this park. Park was clean, a mix of long term and regular sites but was clean. Varying types of spaces but most would accommodate any size rig.
Several places downtime for meals. Check Yelp.
Great jumping off place for the Little Bighorn national monument. Hardin has a wonderful museum on the east side of town. So lots to do within the area.

When we first arrived it was raining and the lady in the office gave us our site number and said it was a back in spot, but if we drove around we could drive thru an empty space to get to it without having to back in. WRONG! When we drove around the site was taken and there was no way out, so had to unhook in the rain and while doing this the owner drove by on his golf cart and told us our space was not available and he would have to find another space for us. After a long day of driving and fighting the rain unhooking we were not in a good mood. However, it worked out well and they put us in a lovely spot and we enjoyed our stay. We had plenty of room for our tow vehicle and 44' motorhome.

The choices in the area are small but stay at 7th ranch just south or drive to Billings and stay at the KOA and just pay their high price.
The office is awful. Smells like cat pee and there and empty cat food cans just sitting around which stink and attract flies. Staff was nice. The office and the trailer where someone on site stays is just trashy.
Site was level but not clean trash and cigarette butts and the grass is dead.
Overall we just didn't like Hardin. There are fast food places to eat if that’s what you are looking for and there’s a Exxon gas station across the street. Flying J and Loves not far also. In Montanta the Flying J’s are co owned and the regular gas side does not accept the RV discount card but if you use diesel you are good as long as you use the truck lanes.
It you just want a place to sleep this place will work but with taxes 46.00 seems a little high for that. Also the WiFi was not usable.
No noise from traffic. Cable was good.

Not many campgrounds in the area, two in Hardin, and good location for drive on into Billings the next day. A little rough, but the checkin lady was nice. Gave us a flat site at exit, no disconnecting, no leveling. Across the street from a casino/gas station, but we didn;t hear it overnight. The best thing I can think to say i that it is handy. Gird your loins before you walk into the office though. Good phone service.

A bit of an improvement from last year. The office/Gift shop renovation is coming along. There is still a ways to go and it should be a lot cleaner but it is a vast improvement from before. Access to the park is easy. Signage was great. Check in was still a little long and drawn out. Our site (11) was a long, graveled and grass, pull through with plenty of room between neighbours. All services were to the left rear and worked well. We did not use the bathrooms, showers or laundry but noted they were clean and up to date. There were, however, still no doors for the toilet or shower stalls. There is a convenient store and service station across the street. We paid $41.41 including tax with a GS discount and feel we received good value. We would return if in the area.

We stayed here mid-August and it was 100 degrees. We were given the last lot with a small tree, which we appreciated, but there were several lots across from us that were empty and had several more mature trees trees. Not much here except a place to park for the night. Hook-ups for water and electricity spaced far apart, so have a long hose!! Pretty pricey for a basic site in a small town.

We stayed 8/17/20 extremely hot weather but it was close enough to Little Bighorn for us to visit late afternoon after setting up and in the morning before checkout. Full hookup. Everything worked fine. Just doesn’t have any wow factors.
