Take a short walk to an intimate downtown with several restaurants & pubs featuring great food and live music of local musicians seven days a week. The Friends of the Kennebec Rail Trail offer a scenic trail for walking, running and bicycling that stretches through Augusta, Hallowell, Farmingdale, and Gardiner along the Kennebec River.
