“300 acres of forest & beautiful wooded trails”
With nearly 300 acres of forest and wooded trails, Babcock Preserve is open year round to the public during daylight hours for hiking and jogging, cross country skiing, picnicking, horseback riding and nature studies. The preserve boasts an extensive, seven-mile trail system with three separate hiking loops, ranging in length from one to nearly four miles. A trail map and picnic area are available at the entrance. Camping without permission of the Department of Parks and Recreation and use of trail bikes is prohibited.
