“a historic wooden covered bridge”
Kidd's Mills Covered Bridge Historic District is a national historic district located at Pymatuning Township, Mercer County, Pennsylvania. The district includes two contributing sites and one contributing structure. The Kidd's Mills Covered Bridge is a historic wooden covered bridge built in 1868. It is rare example of a Smith Cross Truss bridge in the eastern United States. The district includes the sites of two grist mills.[2]It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
Correction: The bridge is not on Reynolds Industrial drive. The bridge itself is on Kidds Mill Road
Beautiful spot for a picnic! Turn of the century grafitti on the bridge! Roadtrippers directions aren't accurate: the bridge is PAST Richards Industrial Road on Kidds Mill Road by about a quarter mile. It is impassable, but there's bathrooms and a picnic table to sit at and enjoy the wooded turn around.
