The owners are really great, they will tell you about the area the lodge, just wonderful. You feel at home the moment you walk in. The sites are all full hook up, yes water, sewer and electric. Big rig friendly, fire rings, picnic tables. Creek sites. There are some tent sites along the creek, you would never know they are there. It is along the road, but don't be mislead by this, once in your site, you become unaware of it.

We had a great site on the creek, large, level with plenty of room for our awning and chairs. My son fished the creek and actually caught a couple greyling. The lodge is an old roadhouse with a bar and sells food, but because of covid has limited their services, but we were here to camp so not an issue. The restrooms are clean and all the staff are helpful. They sell firewood and each site has a picnic table. Yes, I'll go back

I think this campground gets missed because it is also a roadhouse, but it is one of the better rv parks around.
My site was on the creek, full hook up. Site was level, view was great. Had a homemade pizza delivered from the roadhouse. Peaceful. Tried my hand at fishing, but was unsuccessful. Quiet, had firewood delivered. will go back as often as I can . Good internet.

When traveling Alaska you want to be sure to hit the good spots, this campground in Tolsona is one of them. Greeted in the Lodge by a friendly face and escorted to our site. Something that never happens in Alaska. Premium site overlooking the creek. All the sites seem to be large and level, a big rig friendly park. Full hook ups 50/30/20 options. The lodge itself is charming. Have the chili, try some of the hot sauces from the table of pain. Our whole stay was an enjoyable Alaskan Experience.

This is a great campground. The sites are laid out around the creek. The sites are level and spotless. The owners Karen & Andy are very welcoming. Prices in the tavern are reasonable and the chili is excellent. Ask Karen for some of the history of the roadhouse. 5/5 stars.

One of the first guests of their season, and I am thrilled at the time I had here. The roadhouse is a step back in time. Preserved to the history, it is authentic hand peeled logs, it feels like home the moment you step inside. The creek (as large as any river I've seen) is running fast and was amazing to sit and watch. The owner took the time to take me on a short walk, and to the surprise of both of us... two nearly just born baby moose in the path We backed out of there ... slow and quiet... AMAZING this is Alaska. Our site was on the creek and just a peaceful unbelievable experience.

Enjoyed my time at Ranch House Lodge. Friendly owners on site regale you with the history of the + 100 year old roadhouse. Creekside sites near the rushing waters lull you to sleep. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed two nights and had a great experience. The owners are hands-on and are involved in upgrading the park. We stayed in the new creek side section. I’d recommend this area. Only sound is the creek/river. You camp right on the river. New electric and water hookups. The pizza is excellent. The crust superb. This is a great campground. Bathroom and showers in Creekside area is new and kept spotless.

If you are going to Alaska to experience Alaska this is the RV park to go to, The lodge is a historical roadhouse that has been preserved with all its beauty. Full of rich history of sled dog teams and men who started no where with nothing. The campground itself is a place of beauty. Everything you would think Alaska is. The extremely short summers bring a bounty of fish to the creek, that you can sit and listen to all day,
just simply relaxing. The power to the sites is excellent , wifi is excellent (yes here in no where AK) had no issues with water, my site was full hook up, but they have many other options. Stay a few days enjoy the creek, unhook and take a day trip to Valdez, or McCarthy. Have dinner at the lodge. Really recommend this park. Looks small from the road, but the park extends along the creek.

Great RV campground. Owners are very helpful, personable and love their area. Always improving , affordable and quiet. We had a great time here at this park. We weren't on top of each other and it wasn't overcrowded. Andy and Karen were lovely host great conversation. The grounds were well kept Andy stayed busy. Sites were nicely spaced out very level. Each site had a table and a fire pit.. Experienced no problem with power or water. Bath houses were gorgeous. The overall value was great with free wifi and hot, clean showers. There is also laundry and firewood available for a good price as well. We stopped into the tavern for some pizza, chili, and beers. It had a community feel to it and we were able to meet and talk to a lot of great people. 100% recommend staying here. Owners live here, so they take great pride in the campground
