“A Nice, Quiet Camp”
The Green Valley Campground is a nice quiet camp with shade trees, nestled near the Yellowstone River. We have fishing on premises. No license needed. Trout have been caught up to 14 inches. We have large motel like showers with plenty of hot-soft-water. We have a large full sized pool table, pin ball machines, horseshoes, playground and volleyball and basketball court. Easy access off Exit 213 on I-94. Laundry and playground. 20, 30, or 50 amp service. Public phone on the premises, and mail and newspaper service. We are AAA rated and have a capacity of 60 sites. Also room for large rigs.

Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on June 11, 2022We stayed there last night because we were tired. It's a junkyard with some camper hook ups. Nothing works, credit card machine didn't work, pop machine didn't work, no TV stations. I had Wi-Fi from there till it got busy, then it just disappeared, when I ask them they said NO Wi-Fi ! We never felt safe, go somewhere else!
They do NOT take credit cards. Older lady runs it by herself now that her husband passed away.
It was the only open campgrounds in the area with full hookups.
Too expensive for bare minimum and nothing in walking distance.
Gravel road over 2 sets of railroad tracks and sharp turn to get into campsite.

Nice campground. We paid $350 for thirty days, full hookups. There are a few shade trees, but the heat is still oppressive in the summer so make sure you have a working AC. Our site was unlevel, but not a problem with leveling blocks. We didn't drink the water, but used it for showers, dishes, and etc... Campground is pet friendly. The owners are very nice. Getting into the site is very easy. You will cross two railroad tracks on the way in so go slow.
Loved exploring Glendive from this campground, visiting the Glendive Dinosaur Museum, and going bowling.
We weren't bothered by any highway or railroad noises, though you might hear the highway outside of your camper.
Our only real issue was that the dumpsters weren't emptied often enough.
We would stay here again.

Watch out for the railroad tracks on the road in - owner says she can’t get the railroad to fix them - go super slow esp on the first one. Place is a bit dusty and run down. Garbage needs to be picked up. But full hook ups worked fine and it’s cheap. Some large rigs which looked like folks were living in them. Young folks had a bit of a party on Sat night but not loud or late. Fine for an overnight. Interstate clearly heard. Thanks to the large cottonwoods for a little shade. And Verizon was good enough to use as hotspot for Zoom on my computer.
