Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on July 24, 2021Good to set your expectations before coming here. It is great if you are driving through and/or spending the day away from the campground. It is basically just 7 full hook up sites right behind some storage buildings. There is nothing extra.
Pros:
-Cheap- $40 a night for full hook up
-Very short drive to Makoshika State Park
-Friendly hosts and easy to reserve
-Safe area for being in the middle of town
Cons:
In the middle of a kinda run down area of town
No room for kids to play or hang hammocks.
This 7-site RV Park is on a boundary between a residential area and a scattered Industrial Park type of area.
There are large trees that provide wonderful shade for pads/sites 3, 4, 6, and 7 on a hot August afternoon. We have solar on our 5th wheel's roof. The trees are big enough that we can easily maneuver under the trees without any risk to our solar panels.
All pads/sites are full-hookup. Pads/sites 1, 3, 4, 5, and 7 are pull-through. Pads/sites 2 and 6 are back-in. All the pads/sites are gravel with grass areas between the pads/sites.
One unique thing, pad/sites 3 and 4 are such that each RV's front door face each other.
We are here on a Saturday afternoon and it's quiet, very quiet. We'll be leaving Monday morning for North Dakota, so I am not able to comment on work week situation with noise or traffic. But, this is a "very" small town, so I wouldn't expect much activity on any day of the week.
The local dinosaur museum is open Tuesday through Saturday.

We stayed here with 2 other rigs for 3 nights. We made a reservation on the phone with Dennis and follow-up was via text. The owner is super friendly and hospitable. There is no office onsite and there is a self check-in pole to fill out your form and pay. The owner will swing by periodically to check on you, and brought us fresh cucumbers from his garden one day. The park is in an industrial area but has a very comfortable feel. The sites are pretty with older trees and lots of shade in some sites. There aren't a lot of other options in Glendive and the owner has really tried to make this a comfortable place. Easy access.

On a whim stayed her because our plans changed a bit. They are what a lot of Rv parks should be doing! Blue sky Rv park makes it simple and so easy for little /big rvs to access their sites. Very well manicured and extremely clean. They have a kiosk that has all the info plus when you call they answer immediately and they accept texts too! So very smart how they arranged the hookups under a cute Little Rock! Keeps it nice looking and clean! I love the simplicity of it all and the owners are extremely nice!! She fit me in even tho she was pretty booked. Sites are well spaced apart you are not on top of one another. We have a class A 36’ and was easy to park. They have full hookups and close to freeway. We got 4 bars with Verizon.

Called when I couldn’t stay at the park or in the state park. They had one site available and booked me in.
Easy to find down the side roads.
Site 5 was a pull through in the centre.
Check in on a board near site 5. Fill out your details and then put your money in.

I saw that reviews hadn’t been updated in awhile, so I’d like to chime in. We completed the online form and received a call from Dennis very promptly. He then texted helpful instructions for the easiest access to our site. We were in #4 with plenty of shade, a level site, picnic table, and very well maintained hook-ups. We loved the fake rock covers. The entire park is beautifully maintained. The park is away from the main road and very quiet. We were very tired upon arrival, but so glad we pushed on past Miles City on our way east to stay here. I would go out of my way to stay at Blue Sky again!
