If you are camping in an RV or trailer in this area, I highly recommend you camp at nearby Spruce Run Recreation Area instead. We just visited Voorhees a week ago and the place was in disrepair. In fairness, this was in late May - so maybe they were still getting it ready for the season - but it was rough. The roads are crap, everything is overgrown, the sites are narrow and uneven, and the bathrooms/showers are closed - there are porta-pottys instead. You have to drive over 4 miles to Spruce Run to register and use their showers - but you're still charged $20 - no thanks.

I read that this park has a lot to offer with sky gazing, etc. - but we had a lot of other stuff to do and just needed a place to stay for a few nights, this was NOT the place for us.
