“explore this unique environment of history”
North Carolina’s first State Historic Site to honor an African American and a woman. Admission is free. Our site is open from Tuesday- Saturday, 9-5.
The site is beautiful and filled with wonderful facts of African-American history. The staff is very knowledgeable, and personable. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip.
