There is a reservation system online where you can pick your site which I always appreciate and the owner is really nice. Lots of pull thrus. Spot 36 and 32 are right next to the path to the canal. Dogs welcome and the path is perfect. A late night dog walk with a bullfrog concert for company.
The sites are fairly level crushed rock and we didn’t sink off level. Grass between sites with picnic table and fire bowl.
Great location close enough off 80 for convenience.
Good ATT coverage and site includes WiFi for one device ($1 for additional devices).
Con for some - mulberry trees currently dropping fruit. NOT over the RV but close enough to perimeter that my white dog has purple polka dogs.

Quiet little place about 15 miles north of I-80. All the area around I-80 at the western border was flooded. This place had a little soggy spot at one end but all campsite were dry and open. It looks like new owners spent some money on the place. Nice clean laundry and spotless bathrooms with 3 showers. They even provide wash clothes. They sell propane and have a camp office / store. The couple running it were not the owners but standing in for them temporarily. They couldn't have been more helpful.
Nearest town is Geneseo which is about 3 miles away. Cute little town.
Site was level gravel with 30 amp and water. Good WiFi at site 47 don't know about the rest of the park. No problem with cell service.

Last minute sent to this area for work. Wanted to canp. This place was readily available with an easy to use online reservation system. Photos werent impressive, especially bathrooms (yellow?). Anyway upon arrival check in was a breeze. Owners share a lot of interesting info to make ur stay more enjoyable with area sights and facts. Chise a campsite that was on the end of the campgrounds completely uninhabited. Closer to canal (more mosquitos?) near playground. Nice large trees, table, water and power (no dump but we didnt need it). Heard later from locals this end is prone to flooding so keep in min but it was sunny and beautiful during our stay so not a problem. Seemed weird thwre are no fire pits but for the asking you can borrow a portable fire pit and grate fir cooking so all our needs were met. Mosqitos were ferocious but we ARE camping. Finally, my concerns about the bathroom were unfounded. METICULOUSLY CLEAN. I was shocked at how clean the caulk is around the toilet/floor juncture. Rubber mats in shower are effective with zero ick factor! Hats off to owners. Keep up the good work. Would definitely stay again and recommend!!

This is a lovely campground with east access to the canal where you could boat, fish or walk on the path. The campground is immaculate with nice restrooms and laundry facilities as well as a well-stocked camp store. The owners are friendly, helpful and putting a lot of work into the campground to upgrade the facilities. I’d definitely visit again.

We only stayed one night because we had an appointment to keep in Michigan, but had time allowed we would have stayed longer. The campground was very clean and with the heat of August the ample shade was very appreciated.

A cute, decently tidy little campground nestled up to the Hennepin canal, which features a long canal path for running, walking, or biking. Lots of fishing and nature watching (turtles, snakes, otters).
The RV park itself is well managed. The access to sites is strangely tricky. The roads within the park are narrow and are not laid out for easy access to/from many of the campsites. The campsites themselves do have some space between, but were a bit muddy while we were there in late April.
Full hook-up sites, both back in and pull through available. A separate area for tenting. Seasonal residents are grouped together.
There was a surprising amount of action at this park for a weekend in April. Lots of families with kids, where the kids enjoyed the various bikes available for use by the RV park. A small playground and kayak rentals are also available.
Starlink was usable from our site (17), but the trees were not yet in full foliage. Verizon signal was fine.
We would stay here again, but would be hesitant to arrive when the park might be more occupied due to the narrow roads that are strangely angled or have tree obstacles/ overhang.

One of the best online booking sites in over seven years of full-time travel. Each site has a detailed description including satellite dish reception. Pay attention to the low bridge warning on Hwy 82 from Joliet, but note there is a very easy drive-around right at the bridge with Truck Route signs. Don't be the guy who's sure they can clear and show up at the park with your ac hanging off the roof. Also pay attention to the site size - length is for RV only. Add more if you're a trailer and tow vehicle. Easy access and clear signage at park.
Friendly and helpful office staff. We left a day early to miss a coming storm and they offered to refund our last night's stay. Didn't take them up on it as it wasn't an issue with their lovely park. Clean showers and rest rooms at front of park. Utilities work well, sewer a bit of a stretch into neighbor's site, but pretty good size green grass space. Picnic table and you can get a fire ring when you buy their wood. Do NOT bring in outside wood!! Good water pressure, and we drank it from the tap. Quiet and dark at night (sites along the main interior road will get some overhead light). Lovely old growth trees throughout.
Our 35 ft Class A had no trouble navigating through the park and into our site. The people behind us had their large pickup parked in front of their 5er and had to move for a 40 ft Class A to pull in beside us, although I thought there was plenty of room :-)
We really love this little park, and if there was anything to do in the area we would definitely come back. Cute little town with a dozen grill and bar eateries with pub food. If you're a Victorian home buff you'll love driving around, but that's about it for many miles in all directions.
