“the childhood home of michael and the rest of the jacksons”
This small, quaint home Gary, Indiana was the childhood home of the king of pop, Michael Jackson.
This place has been closed for over a year. Actually dangerous to visit since a man leaves the door open then screams and threatens to hurt you when you attempt to visit. All sources online list as open but I assure you it is not. Just a run down town surrounding it.
We were in town for a basketball tournament and I took my cheerleaders for fun. It was really cool to see. Easy to get to, and the neighbors are really nice.
Lots of neat places to take pictures in that area, my girls had a great time.
It's a well kept home. Neat to see and picture him and his family playing there and in the neighborhood. Easy stop.
Pretty awesome if you were a fan of any of the Jacksons. Just a small house in a small community. It was worth the stop for me as I don't know when I'll get another opportunity to do so.
Not far from the highway. Interesting to see his house but it’s dangerous
It was an interesting stop to see where Michael Jackson grew up. We signed a poster that was up and took some pictures
A little hard to find, I will post a pic of he cross street where the house is. Also the Michael Jackson monument is no longer there. Now I can say I saw his childhood home
Was crazy to see how beautiful the house is still kept compared to the abandon ones around it. I've never seen anything like that but worth the trip. Rest his soul.
Was a nice stop. We also enjoyed the big Muriel of the Jackson 5 on the road in.
