Nelson Ledges Quarry Park

I have lived near Nelson Ledges all my life. I still find it very enjoyable to go up through the quarry. The rocks are very tall and very climbable. There are different difficulty trails to follow. I can't really speak to the RV park, since I have always lived nearby I haven't had a chance to stay there. It's great fun for a sunny afternoon.

Otherwise known as "Heaven on Earth." Everything you could ever want for a camping retreat. Beautiful wooded areas for camping and hiking, AMAZING swimming in fresh quarry water, adrenaline rushes from jumping off a cliff, and friendly people to meet. When there is a festival going on there is plenty of live music though out the afternoon and into the evening. There are wonderful people selling beautiful crafts, clothing, trinkets, art, and delicious foods.

Staff do a great job of keeping everyone safe and happy, and keeping the quarry clean. Plenty of lifeguards to are always available, friendly and on point. A big Thanks to the whole staff!

Awesome place to visit! Check their website to see when certain festivals are so you can plan your trip around the music you like! Reggae music, classic rock music, electronic music...they will have an entire weekend dedicated to a specific genre. So you can come camp, hike, swim, party, and listen to music all weekend long. It is not bad. Great area, friendly park. Amazing time.

Complete waste of money. Park thinks they know better than parents whether a child can swim. They make kids take a swim test in water ankle deep. $30 and an hours of our day wasted
