Not much in the way of privacy between sites but for a one nighter it suited us just fine. Very quiet with the exception of the train tracks that run right next to the park. There weren’t many trains passing through so it wasn’t a problem for us.
It also had some nice scenery with the Split Rock creek falls right nearby (which also was nice to listen to at night) as well as the nearby Devils Gulch park of Jesse James fame. All in all , a nice value for the coast.

Our site was quite nice and spacious being the last spot available. The waterfalls and park are nice for the kids to explore. The only real negative is the amount of trains coming through and having to blow their horns through town. It is quite obtrusive if you like it quiet...

Stayed on a Sunday night. Only two other groups. Electric hook up and no frills but peaceful and quiet after a long day on the road. Train is close but only had two go through between 6:30 pm and 7:30 am. View of the falls was great. Watched locals fishing, canoeing and paddle boarding. Wish we could have stayed another night.

The campground was really spread out and we stayed in the back. There was no one else staying in that section so it was lovely. The train goes right next to it and runs all night though. It was loud and the horn was blasted regularly.

This was a nice city park campground not too far off the beaten path for an overnight.
Full the night we were there but still nice. Only complaint was the train noise throughout the night.

This is a small park with a nice little river. We saw a bunny and a great blue heron on the river. Bruce, who runs the park was really nice and helpful. There are electric hookups at most sites but only vault toilets and those are smelly enough that we opted to use the facilities in our camper. The train went by twice in the night - at 3 a.m. and about 5 a.m. and it sounds its horn several times. The sites are really close together. Cell service was good for our small carrier. The dump station is outside the park, across the railroad tracks and there was toilet paper all over the ground at the dump station. Also, there is no information given about the dump station, so you'd never know there was one, unless you asked. It was fine for one night, but I wouldn't stay for longer.
