Crevice Mountain Lodge

Family-friendly CREVICE MOUNTAIN LODGE is a beautiful, rustic place of solitude and relaxation bordering Yellowstone National Park. Located at an elevation of 8300 feet, guests are able to view a vast expanse of The Black Tail Plateau of Yellowstone. With convenient access to Yellowstone, fishing, rafting and trail-riding, vacation or holidays can be enjoyed in an unstructured environment. There are great hiking and mountain biking trails in any direction and the one million plus acres of the Absaroka-Bear Tooth Wilderness are within a mile of the Lodge. Located 10 miles from Gardiner, Montana, Crevice Mountain Lodge is built on the site of the old 1870’s gold mining town of Crevasse. Several ruins and examples of boarding houses and gold stamp mills are within comfortable hiking distance. Every day there is the possibility of seeing and photographing wildlife native to the Park on the way to, from, or at the Lodge to include mule and whitetail deer, elk, antelope, buffalo, and Rocky Mountain Sheep. Many guests opt for an early breakfast then spend their day of discovery in Yellowstone Park, coming back to serenity in the evening in time for a home-cooked family-style dinner.
