William Ann Motel

My only problem with the William Ann Motel was the paper thin walls, other than that it was great. 50 bucks gets you a clean room, tv, fridge, microwave, clean bathroom, and a safe parking spot right outside your door.

One word of advice to anyone staying there, the doors lock automatically behind you so don't forget your key. I speak from personal experience.

I was pretty bummed out after being turned away from the Historic Lowe Hotel in nearby Point Pleasant (booked up for a weekend full of weddings and a class reunion), but the William Ann Motel was suggested to me by a local and I couldn't be happier with my stay.

The place is pretty no-frills, but the staff are pleasant, the rooms are clean, and best of all, they're dirt cheap. A single bed cost me $50 and some change, had a mini fridge, ice-cold AC, and even a microwave.

If you're planning on heading to Point Pleasant for the Mothman Festival and you need a nice, quiet place away from the circus downtown, it's well worth the few minute drive across the river. Highly recommended!

This is a clean cheap motel, very friendly staff. My husband and I stayed Saturday 4/16/2016, we are looking for a place to stay in area, great little motel that is run by a very nice family. Not all the frills of the other places to stay but, boat friendly and smoker friendly. We will be back, thanks for the best hospitality. The McNicholas family.
