Countryside Park

Countryside Park has paved parking, paved walking path, tables, grills, and a shelter to enjoy a stroll past the gardens or to picnic with family.  This facility has been leased from the county since Jan. 1985 and is managed by the Park District. The area includes grassy space for play, tables, grills, and a gazebo. The paved walking path is approx. 1000 ft. and is ideal for walkers, strollers, wheelchairs. Use of skateboards, and in-line skates is discouraged because the path is commonly used by nursing home residents. The shelter was constructed by the Park District. Funding assistance for Park Development came from Countryside Continuing Care Center.
