Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on August 08, 2020We camped here with friends over the Columbus Day weekend to do some leaf peeping. The campground is small for a KOA. The sites are close together, typical for a KOA. About 50% of the sites are taken by seasonal campers. But that did not detract from the campground like it does in other places. If you can score a campsite by the stream, lucky you. We spent a few enjoyable evenings watching the water flow by on our friends campsite. The campground is Big Rig friendly, as are the staff.
Be sure to follow the KOA website directions for coming to the campground, NOT your GPS. You will get into trouble. Once at the campground, the roads are gravel and the sites are gravel and grass. Trees are abundant. Everyone has a picnic table and fire ring.
Campground WiFi was great when it worked, but went out often enough that we resorted to the Verizon Hotspot (2 bars of 4G). OTA TV was non-existent. No cable. Laundry room worked well. There is a big TV in the game room if you need a TV fix. Power was very good. There is no sewer due to the campground's proximity to the stream. There is a dump station, or the staff can pump you out. Propane is available.
This location served as a great point from which to enjoy the western Catskills. Find the Delaware-Otsego Audubon Society's property down the road (http://doas.us/) and take a hike. The view is worth it. Or do the Cooperstown Winery Trail.

This KOA doesn’t deserve a *. We booked a pull through 50 amp/water for 1 night on a Sunday. The host was very unfriendly. She directed us to a dirt campsite. The campsites were cramped together it looks like a trailer park.We disconnected from truck and got set up. The 50 amp kept tripping the breaker. We went to 30 amp and it tripped also. Neighbor campers were having the same problem. We contacted the host. We ended up hooking back up and leaving. We did receive a refund but the time involved of unhooking and hooking back up is very upsetting 😟

Worst KOA ever, way below the standard. Mostly full time residents, unclean facilities, sites not maintained. The only thing good was the internet
This place is great. The people are nice and friendly. I gave it 4 stars because the pool was green. 😅
We enjoyed our stay! Friendly staff allowed us to check in late and guided us to our spot. This place had everything we needed for our RV.
