Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on June 03, 2021Found this RV park available on short notice for Memorial Day weekend when most of the state and national parks and campgrounds were full. Only about 20 sites, mostly on grass. About half are shady; the rest in full sun.
Looks like there were some long-time residents (or at least parked trailers - we didn't see any people at all in a couple of them). Joyce, who owns/runs the place was fairly friendly and extremely conscientious about keeping the place clean and maintained.
It was quiet and comfortable over the long weekend. There is a small pool which was a nice relief for the heat of the days. We got permission to run the dog loose in a back unmowed field, which was an added bonus. Big dog likes to chase frisbees and stays in a much better mood when he gets to do so a couple of times a day.
I marked down on the site quality because the sites were very close together. We opted for a site with shade, and our awning was literally 6 inches from the neighbors slideout. Luckily, that was an empty unit, so it wasn't as if we were practically sharing a bedroom.

We only wanted an overnight stop in central Georgia, didn’t need any amenities. We would have done a Walmart or other roadside stops but it was too hot to be comfortable in August without air conditioning. We found this listing and are glad we did It’s about 3 miles off the interstate so it’s very quiet. For $27 we had full hookups in a pull through site. It’s a small rural campground but it has a pool, bath house & laundry (we didn’t use either). The owner was extremely nice, answered our call after hours and let us come in near dark. Highly recommend!

Needed a place for a night after long day of traveling from Memphis. Called the day before and made reservation, glad I did, they filled up. As mentioned this is a small family run place. Site was level, and was full hook up. Arrived when office was closed so paid next morning. Did not get a password so couldn’t check on their WiFi. Cell service was good. Restroom was clean. No complaints.

First night stay overnight on the way to Memphis. Had WiFi and site was relatively level. Enjoyable visit. Used water and electric and WiFi - not sewer. Asked
Manager for reservation on return trip. Said she would but didn’t. Was extremely difficult to empty tanks. No gravity. Had to constantly adjust/ lift gray/black hose to accomplish drainage. Full-time rigs were moldy and junky looking. Old rigs detracted from the park appearance. I got the impression that management was not concerned with sort term campers. After the second experience concluded I would never return. Have decided to stay at KOA at exit 186. A real example of “you get what you pay for”. Finally, I took the time to comment on my stay because I believe campers need to know.

I wasn't originally planning on camping here but decided to go farther than I originally planned to drive on my road-trip for the day and saw this was on my route. Called and made a quick reservation. I wasn't going to be in until after office hours and she waited for me to arrive. I had to pay cash. The spot was close to the bathroom and showers which were very clean. Camp site was nice. I would stay here again.

Charlotte and Keith are great with the rest of the team we couldn’t have picked a better place for our first camping trip.
They are always very helpful asking if everything is ok and they love to meet your pets.
Small family owned very pleasant and friendly campers that stay here.
We always stay here when we travel back into Forsyth Ga.

Convenient to 75. Full hook ups. Pleasant owners. The sites were tight and there were several full timers. But it was good fir a night. Great Verizon service.

We stopped for,the night on our way home. Easy access. Level site, but VERY tight. Picnic table was adjacent to the next sit hook ups. No fire pit, etc. Almost all permanents, no one was outside their RVs. Good, clean facilities. Easy access dump station. WiFi was very spotty.

We were having brake problems and needed a place quickly. The traveling mechanic suggested this campground. We got the last site. It has full hookups, great wifi, laundry, and a somewhat small but tidy bath house.
