Rest area is just west of Memphis, full bars Verizon wireless LTE, clean bathrooms, vending machines, picnic tables, dog walk. Got lucky the truck parked behind us shut its engine off overnight! Easy pull off and onto the highway there is highway noise but set back enough so it isn’t terrible. Great 1 night stopover.
Stopped to use the restroom. Clean and easy parking for our 5th wheel.
I arrived just about an hour before sunset and the rest area had just started to fill up, so try and get there early as possible. Restrooms were clean and a easy and short walk from the camping area. The camping area that I set up in was flat asphalt.
Arrived around 6:15pm on a Saturday evening and plenty of spots were available. Before we could even get set up we were approached by a sketchy looking character asking for cash and a “tank of gas”. We immediately left and drove a few miles west to Forrest City, Ark. The local RV Campground was completely full so we just got a hotel room. This is exactly why we usually steer clear of highway rest stops. The place looked very nice and we would have loved to stay there.
Paked in the first pullout in the car area against the highway.
Very loud but very level. No issues for an overnight.
Great overnight parking spot. Parking is away from interstate in more wooded and picnic area. Felt very safe though. Relatively flat site. Get there before nightfall as it fills up fast. Restrooms were clean and person was there cleaning as we left. Would stay here again.
