“year-round camping!”
Stretching along the shores of beautiful 500-acre Lake Jackson, this compact 40-acre park offers swimming, paddleboat rentals, fishing and picnicking, as well as a complete community building and a modern lakeside campground with satelite tv. Water skiing and personal watercraft are allowed on the lake. Located on the Alabama/Florida state line, this park has the perfect climate for campers seeking to avoid those harsh winter months up north. Year round, it's a great place to visit!

Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on June 11, 2020We happened on this when we got off the main highway and were just about into Florida. It's a quiet little city park and is run by Abby who is very helpful and nice and dedicated to her park grounds. We were able to get a space that was separated from the bigger rigs along the lake. It has a nice walking trail around the lake and was a great place to relax after the fast trip down from Michigan in April of 2016. I am writing this several months later so I do not recall the price or the site number. My husband left his jacket there and Abby even called us to tell us. We were too far away by then to turn back but she actually mailed it to us when we returned to Michigan. Now who does that? Nice people that's who. The bathrooms were clean and there were laundry facilities there as well. It was a very pretty drive into the park area and the nearby town although nothing to talk about, had the necessary amenities.

This is a sweet little park in the middle of town on Lake Jackson, the largest natural lake in Alabama. The town of Florala is quiet and clean. There are 25 sites and they are all full hook ups. They have laundry facilities, a boat ramp, several waterfront sites with easy water access, a play ground, a pavilion, and wifi. Wade, the owner, was friendly and attentive. He maintains the rv park as well as the rest of the city park. It was pleasant to see such a well maintained park with almost no trash! It was the weekend and families came to bbq and play and it seemed like they picked up after themselves. I highly recommend this park and this town for a nice stop on your travels. Just don’t try to buy beer on Sunday!😂
