The ASOM is open to the public from 10am to 5pm Tuesday through Saturday and noon to 5pm on Sunday. We are closed on Mondays except for Federal Holidays.
It is a great museum. takes about 2 hours to see and read everything
Great little museum, even my 2.5 year old loved it. very well set out and its free. they ask for donation only which is obviously your choice.
This museum is beautifully maintained, full of provoking exhibits. Great for all ages. It's a humbling experience. Veterans Park, connected by a sidewalk, should not be missed.
It is a wonderful museum, well worth the trip. My only complaint is that there wasn't enough benches for people with bad knees/hips/back to seat and rest for a few minutes.
Amazing museum, loads of fantastic military history displays and very easy to detour to from I-95. Highly recommended.
Great Museum indeed. It leads you through the history of Airborne Action from the first Jumps up to Missions in Afghanistan and Irak. It consists of different very detailed "Mission scenes" that even have embedded background sounds and make you feel like you're on the spot with the guys. Although very much US based, they display some international gear too. Admittance is free.
There are some Simulators to experience different airborne related stuff too (e.g. a parachute drop).
Well done! Extensive collection! Many interactive exhibits!
