The Botanical Garden Society of the Ozarks (BGSO) was incorporated in January 1994 as a non-profit organization. The founder and first Director was Donna Porter who worked tirelessly to see her vision materialize, serving on a volunteer basis from 1993 until 1997. Lifelong learning is a central part of the mission of the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks. We hold workshops, lectures, and classes for people of all ages throughout the year. We also serve Northwest Arkansas schoolchildren with programs in the schools and at the Garden.

Great place that accepts reciprocal memberships if you're from out of town (like our Ft Worth Botanic gardens membership). We did a photo shoot there and there are so many places for fun shots.... Read more
