North Star Golf Club is America’s Northernmost USGA golf course. Our season is generally mid/late May through the last Sunday in September, weather permitting. With a championship tee course and slope rating of 70.9/124 as well as Family & Tee It Forward options guests of all ages and abilities will enjoy a great golfing experience.North Star Golf Club may be the only golf course that includes an Animal Checklist on its scorecard. Our open terrain attracts a large variety of native Alaskan species. The red backed voles colonize the deep rough, attracting a host of small predators such as hawks, owls, eagles, and red fox. Sandhill cranes may watch you putt and trumpeter swans have been seen. It is rare to see a lynx. One was spotted in 2001 stalking ducks, in 2011 catching a snowshoe hare, and in November 2012 walking through the parking lot! Moose are often seen in the wetlands near the back 9, usually late in the day or early morning.We offer VISITOR SPECIALS that include 9 or 18 holes of golf, golf cart, clubs, a logo ball, featured logo item and certificate of play.
