Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on August 04, 2022I had to stay in Fairbanks longer then I anticipated but this place was great while I was here.
On the edge of town but off the main road and close to everything. The campground itself it very lush and green with tables and fire rings. Hardly feel like your in the city except the noise from the road. There’s lots of spots of all different sizes and enough room between sites. The host and workers was extremely nice and helpful. I was even able to walk to the farmers market from this location.
I’ve heard it fills up quickly durning their fair but while I was here is had some people but not tons. Skip the expensive spot on the river and check this place out instead. Also free WiFi!

Great small campground. Lots of shade. A 45 footer would have a hard time but our 35’ class A with 2 slides was an easy fit. Close to Farmers market and Creamery wild life preserve.

Staying here currently and no one answers the phone. No Voicemail- very unprofessional We are unable to gain access to showers or laundry as none of that information was shared when we checked in. Looked inside the laundry room and machines look broken and old. After venturing to try and do laundry there was a guy lurking around a tent site that was not his and when confronted he said he was “looking for work” Does not feel safe!!!!!

We had a large site, it was at the entrance but I though it was still private. Lots of big trees. The sites were well spaced.
It is away from the city by the fair grounds. I thought it would be quiet but then realized it was on the flight path. Fortunately it stopped in the evening.
Access in Fairbanks is excellent.
The shower need some work. The doors to the toilets were recently redone ++ but none of them close properly. I had 2 showers one lukewarm the 2nd cool. The shower curtains we cut up and didn’t cover the door.
The shower/laundry was locked with a code++ and was clean.

Nice campground with lots of trees. When we checked in we received passwords for the bathrooms, laundry and WIFI. The bathrooms are older but the facilities were adequate. There was plenty of hot water in the showers. We had a site close to the office and the WIFI was very good. Some of the sites are 30/50 amp, some are 30 amp only and some are tent sites. Our site had 30/50 amp service and worked well. There is a dump station close to the entrance and potable water is available to fill your tanks. The location of the campground is very convenient for access to the city. It is also close to Creamer's Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge where we saw Sandhill Cranes. The campground offers the Good Sam discount. We had good cell service.

Management is basically on site for check in only. Otherwise management is absent most of the time. No water at sites. Electric only. Adjacent to fairgrounds. Laundry, showers, toilets. Lowest price w/electric in Fairbanks.

We stayed for 3 nights in our popup pickup camper. The fair was going on next door so there was noise from noon to about 10pm. After that it was quiet. Sites have power only, fire ring & picknick table. Laundry was $2 wash & $2 dry cheapest we have found.
Hot showers, bathrooms have code locks on doors. Dump station included in price. Pet friendly campground.
We will definitely stay here again if in town.

This is not a destination resort. It is a wooded campground at the edge of the city. The neighborhood is a little sketchy. The campground in the woods is pretty. We found the management that was on duty to be very helpful, and friendly. The sites are tight. Most of them looked fairly level although ours really wasn't. Our picnic table was unusable was in bad repair and perched in a rut slanting downward. We would not have used the table anyway because the mosquitoes were horrendous. The bathrooms are in mid renovation, meaning there is new bare drywall .The shower stalls look like new inserts. The shower was fine, until I tried to shave my second leg and I ran out of hot water. My husband took a shower and while he was in there someone stole his toiletry bag. The manager talked to a particular group of campers about the stolen bag. They were packing up to leave and an hour later the bag shows up outside the office door, minus a few implements. So we have to thank management for getting involved in that. There aren't many options for RV camping in Fairbanks, but I have to say I would not go back to this place.

First, the rate is figured from the weekly rate. Sites are electric only with potable water at the dump station. We had level dirt/mud sites is both 18 and 21. Sites were large enough to put up my screen room. Management was very nice, check in was easy. She was very accommodating regarding an issue with an extremely loud group. The park is at the fairgrounds so we had that as a walking area. It would be much different and much louder if the fair or some affair was going on. We had it pretty good. Closed to everything in Fairbanks.
There is road noise and it's in the flight path for the airport.
