“bringing Reduce, Reuse, Recycle to a whole new light”
Fair Oaks Farms is an escape to the country with acres of great outdoor fun, food and learning where you can explore family farms and reconnect with nature, animals and our planet. Fair Oaks Farms offers experiences that you couldn't imagine and you'll never forget! We are not only committed to educating the public about modern farming efforts, but also to protecting the environment, caring for our animals and ensuring the highest quality products possible.Fair Oaks Farms brings Reduce, Reuse, Recycle to a whole new light. Our entire facility runs on cow & pig manure. We transform our farms' waste into energy by way of our anaerobic digesters, we reduce our dependency upon natural gas and electricity during the milk and manufacturig process. In 2013, the use of CNG will reduce the amount of diesel that our milk tanker/trailers use by 2 million gallons; the amount used in 2011. Our barns and plants are also powered by this cutting edge "poo power".
I can not explain cow dairy massive this place is! Don’t mooooo-ve to fast on I65 or you’ll miss the exit (220).. recowmmend staying around to graze on the samples... milk it for all it’s worth!
First of all this place is massive! Second it may be the only unique place to eat off the highway on this stretch of 65. They are really more known for tours of the farm, but I stopped just to get a grilled cheese. It was a fantastic grilled cheese!
The food was amazing delicious and there was a really big thunderstorm it made me really happy how they have there security really secure they put us in a room and they gave us chairs and water when the storm was calming down they let us have a choice we can go to our car or stay we left but the service there is amazingly great
Best grilled cheese we have had. Too pricy for farm tours at nearly $30 .
Ate at the restaurant and it was delicious. You can’t get fresher food when everything on the plate was grown within sight of the restaurant. Loved it!
Great stop for a grilled cheese & cheese tasting!
Super cute area! The cowfe was closed so we got the great ice cream at the gas station. It also has an amazing dog park and looks like a hotel in the works. Worth the stop!
Fresh food and homemade ice cream!
Delicious!! And definitely worth the stop and the money! I left full and the kids pizza was the size of the plate. Great farm fresh food!!
Great place to stretch your legs with a nice ice cream. If you have the time and money to take the tour, or go to the play center it is worth it.
