PROs
* Clean enough bath houses with plenty of hot water;
* the sites are spaced far apart in the small loop we were in (12 -14 sites);
* lots of trees at the sites for good shade during the hot summer heat;
* good launching CG to explore Eureka Springs (12 miles), Bentonville and Rogers;
* Crystal Bridges, War Eagle Mill and old downtown of Eureka Springs is well worth exploring!
CONs
* Getting to this COE is on challenging roads with regards to extreme curvy, up and down grades. Same applies to getting to points of interest, this area is in the NW Ozarks and up on ridges;
* No easily accessible bike paths or walking paths;
* Connectivity was challenging with 1 bar Verizon.

We thought we were getting a water front site per the map - so do not be fooled! There is a lot of trees between us and the water, and the little trail the goes to the water is not good for much.
Upon check-in, there was no advice on how to get water so that was a struggle. And no signage, so we also got lost trying to find our site.
The only good thing was the surprise of incredibly good cell service so I could work.

Located just below the dam on the side of the river with one good paved access and parking for fellow fisherman next to the bathhouse. This is one popular River! Cold tailwaters and crystal clear with friendly Generation Schedule’s from the Dam. These River loop sites have asphalt, 50 amp, a really nice covered picnic shelter, fire ring, lantern post, and water. Site number eight (Which I loved) was also very satellite friendly! We are moving to site 11 later on in the week and that looks to be satellite friendly too. We did get five OTA stations. Sites 6 and 7 are really beautiful! I will say that I came in prior to us parking.... hosed it all down, cleaned up all the cigarette butts and trash and sprayed it all down with Lysol. There is no cleaning done between campers. We did not use the restrooms or showers either.

My only complaint about our stay is that one loop of the campground, the loop we were in, is so far away from the campground that it seems like it should be a completely different campground. The signage does not indicate this and the guard house was unattended, so no maps were being given out. We had a frustrating time trying to find our site and eventually had to knock on the door of the campground host.
Once we found and settled into our campsite we were pleased. Sites are spacious and level, The campground is well maintained and clean.

Nice campground in a pine forest with lots of trees. Sites are decently spaced. It's kind of a pain to find because there are a few campgrounds also with that name (Beaver Lake). So be prepared to make sure you set your GPS to the campground you intend to stay at. No water, but there was electric. Also, a dump station on the way out. It's not real close to Eureka Springs, so be prepared to drive a good 20 minutes to get to town. Also, be careful of the poison ivy that is along the roads and near some campsites. There are actually 2 campgrounds. Ours didn't have a trash dumpster. The other campground that is next to it has a trash dumpster and water hook-ups at each site. I think they charge a little more per night because of the water. Only complaint was the kids across from us. They constantly were dribbling a basketball and after a while, it got old. I know they are kids but be courteous to your neighbor's. After all it's a CAMPGROUND, not a playground! We would come back here in a heartbeat.

We stay here at least oncea year. Love how it coold down at night because of the cold river close by. Lots of shade from trees. You can go on a hike, trout fish, go up top to Beaver lake and swim. Take a 10-15min drive into the town of Eureka Springs. Bathrooms are clean, only had 2 things go wrong. 1. Wish people would keep their dogs on a leash as one came towards me as I was headed to the restroom and he was not friendly. 2. Is kinda my fault but at night make sure to either dump your trash or hide it up high as the raccoons will show up and make a mess and alot of noise. Other than that always a good time.

We stayed here in early April and the campground was busy. It is right on the White River so most folks here are into trout fishing. It's a family friendly atmosphere. Beautiful area just down stream from the Beaver Dam. Verizon has great signal here and we streamed no problem.
There's more than this section to the campground and ours was a little hard to find as it is down a separate road (Rt 136) where as the other 2 are on Damsite River Road. We had to use google satellite image to help us find it. There was no one at the entrance booth being early in the season I suppose.
There is a water spigot to fill on the road just before you turn into the loop to fill your fresh. All the sites look pretty level and are paved. The shower house is a bit older and needs some repair, but it is clean and well stocked daily. push button showers. 30 amp electric. Very wooded so plenty of shade on most every site. A few back to the river which looks really nice!
Great location to visit Eureka Springs, a quirky fun town. We also visited Pea Ridge Military National Park--well worth the trip--while we stayed here.

There are actually two campgrounds at this location. We chose the one they call The Pines. All sites have electric, but no water. There is a place you can fill your tank if you want. We just chose to fill a couple of 5 gallon jugs a few times and filled our tank. It was enough water for our time there. It's a peaceful campground and there is a decent amount of space between spots. You have to dump your trash on the way out at the next campground. There is also a dump station when you leave. For $11 per night (Senior Pass), you can't beat it. We paid $44 for 4 nights and that to me is a bargain! We have stayed at the KOA in Eureka Springs for that long and paid almost $300! So this place is a bargain. Great Verizon, too. We tried to get satellite TV, but there are too many tall pines blocking reception. We can't wait to stay here again! The only negative side of it all is that it's about a 15-20 minute ride to Eureka Springs.

Riverview campground is decent with large sites that have moderate spacing between neighbors, electric, and water hookups (water off till Apr). Dump is 1/2 mi up road at kiosk as well as a seperate water fill (in front of building).
However, site 7 is ridiculously unlevel but has a very long driveway. Still, it took some effort to get level, and I had to use at 25' extension cord to reach the pedestal.
The major issue we had with site 7 is that campers and random locals felt it necessary to walk through to the back of our the site to take a very narrow and obscure/ unmarked trail behind our picnic table (not intended for day use) to get to the water even though public access is just a few yards away. We even had someone park in our campsite when we went to the dump! Avoid 7 if possible unless you want unwanted traffic.
