This peaceful, lakeside, wooded retreat sits on 25 hidden acres. Just minutes from the shopping and dining of Lake Geneva and the hiking and biking of The Kettle Moraine State Park, yet secluded on a wonderful, quiet lake with abundant wildlife. If you're looking for a 4 star, top-of-the-line retreat, look elsewhere ; ) This is cottage chic at best. In fact, "camping indoors" is a nice way to think about it!
What's to Love: A Prohibition-era summer camp turned artist retreat with every camp activity from canoeing to archery. A favorite with muscisians, artists, and adventurer types.
Good to Know: If you book a teepee, boy scout cabin, or the three-story treehouse, bring extra batteries for your flashlight.
