“Where pie is love”
Beth Howard is the author of "Making Piece: A Memoir of Love, Loss and Pie." She lives in the famous American Gothic House in Eldon, Iowa where she runs the Pitchfork Pie Stand, open Memorial Day to Labor Day, Saturdays and Sundays from 12 to 5. Howard teaches pie making classes year-round. Check out her website where you can find more info about her pie stand & classes, her popular blog, the concept for her pie TV show, latest press, and her pie memoir.
Like Beth's Facebook page (The World Needs More Pie) for updates on what types of pie and how many of them she has left before heading toward Eldon. The rhubarb and the apple crumble were both phenomenal.
