We stayed here to be close to Pensacola and the Gulf Shores area. I loved the generous RV spots and the fact that you feel like you are camping. There are lots of trees and shade. The best part for us was the kids felt so comfortable and welcome which is not always the case in RV Parks. This place is about family and I appreciate that greatly. Look forward to coming back again.

We stayed here mainly so grandkids could have a pool to swim in and I could fish in small lake. The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful, as I had a problem with a stabilizer jack.

Old fashion somewhat neglected campground situated in a rural pine forest. Sites are mostly sandy and not on top of each other. Beautiful setting with lots of potential but felt like a cheap motel. We did not feel very safe as there was no security whatsoever and lots of vehicles racing through the park until early hours of the morning.
The WiFi is very weak to nonexistent and cellular signal is generally very weak (one bar). Bathrooms were seldom cleaned and hardly ever had hot water.
There are other well managed rv parks in the area that offer better prices, with well kept newer facilities.

Really enjoyed this campground! The sites were not packed in and you were surrounded by pines & foliage. The staff was very helpful and we enjoyed meeting the other campers. We do not have kids but would definitely come here with them if we did, lots of activities for them to do. Overall we loved the relaxed family vibe and how remote it get. Yet only a 20-25 minute drive to the many places in Foley and 30 minutes to Gulf Shores.

Don’t pass it by if you have kiddos. Just stayed the weekend and they had a blast. So many other kids to play with and lots of activities to do.

If you ignore the fact this is considered a yogi bear park, it’s a decent park but doesn’t live up to the yogi bear standard. The advertised kids amenities were not actually offered. The only kids activity in December was a hay ride Our site was in the perfect location to fish and watch our kids at the playground. The roads are not paved which makes it difficult for kids to ride bikes. We also smelled marijuana on more than one occasion.

We took a chance and booked for a weekend. The advertised Halloween themed activities for the kids really drew us in. Enough to overlook the not-so-great internet presence based on reviews. What a trip. There are pros and cons, as found anywhere. The cons are pretty obvious as soon as you pull into the park. It is off the beaten path, which is normally a great thing for me. But this park really gives a sketchy vibe. The sites are predominately residential and not maintained well. The back of the campground holds the majority of the residential sites, with the short term sites closer to the front and tent camping sites jammed inbetween. Everything is outdated and feels very dirty. Bath houses, laundry, even the general grounds. Older, well-kept facilities are not a problem for me. But that is not what you find here. This is both older and neglected. I'd stay away from the back of the campground, because it definitely gives the vibe of someone going missing. We even had a man-hunt during our stay, with heavy police presence for several hours.
For the pros! My kids do not look through the lense of an adult with adult concerns. They had a blast! Some of the activities were very lackluster, but that pool really saved the weekend. Even if it did feel a bit ick as an adult 😆 They loved the playground. Our site was beautiful! We had a back in close to the front and the view over the pond was very nice. Site was spacious. No complaints there except for it being pretty unlevel and hard to work with when setting up.
In summary, the negative reviews are founded. This could be a really great place. Lots of potential. But as it sits now, it's a miss. If you feel adventurous and want to try it, try it! But we will skip this one next time.
