Plum Loco Animal Farm

Plum Loco Animal Farm is a permanent home to over 60 farm animals that visitors can pet and feed including ponies, donkeys, miniature horses, horses, 4 breeds of goats, 3 breeds of sheep, pot-bellied pigs, geese and chickens. Visitors can purchase feed pails from our ticket booth that include a scoop of grain for the sheep and goats and a pound of fresh carrots sticks for the ponies, donkeys and horses. Detailed safety instructions are provided at check in that teach visitors how to pet and feed our animals safely.In addition to animal acres, Plum Loco is popular for our play-farm village with a series of authentic child-sized buildings fully stocked with tons of hands-on equipment that allow children to explore their imaginations. The play farm includes a farm house with a fully stocked kitchen, a garden with flowers to plant and transplant, a wash-line with clothes to hang, a barn with pedal tractors, tool bench, landscaping equipment, and a pony corral with plush horses to ride and brush. The 1880's style general store has a farmer's market, cash register, shopping carts and items to buy and sell. We also have an 8 foot farm table complete with barns, animals, fencing, trees, tractors and the like.For older children and adults, we offer a variety of board games (giant chess, checkers and connect 4) as well as popular lawn games.Visitors may picnic in the shaded cedar-log gazebos or selecting ample seating on the lawn that adjoins the play farm.Plum Loco is especially popular for children ages toddler through 8 years of age and animals lovers of all ages.We are handicapped accessible and offer free WiFi. We are open 9:30-4:30 daily (weather permitting) but are closed on Wed - from Memorial Day - Labor Day. From Labor Day to November 1st, Plum Loco is open 9:30-4:30 Sat and Sun. We offer pumpkin sales and painting during the month of October.
