This is a wonderful, quiet campground! You currently have to call for reservations, but the host and hostess are friendly and very nice! Signs are posted saying that online reservations are coming soon. Site #12 is the only one I can see from walking around that has lake views, and they are limited through the trees. There is a boat ramp on site. There are two bathhouses, which are a bit dated but clean. There is also ice available and washer/dryers. Our site, #12, was level and easy to back into. Most of the other sites seem level, too. There were many 5th wheel campers. There is a new Dollar General about 5 minutes away. Other than that, the closest restaurants and other stores are in Eatonton, about 15 minutes away. Madison restaurants and stores are about 30 minutes away. Campground is tucked out of the way; must take several backroads to get here. Would definitely stay here again!

This was our 1st trip so we had nothing to compare it to. Booked through GA Power online. Checking in was easy. Site was easy to get into. Water access to Lake Oconee was a quick bike ride or walk away (we were at site 1). We were there Labor Day weekend so it was a bit crowded and lots of traffic in the camp area. It seemed there were more people than allowed for most campers which was expected for a holiday weekend. Due to Covid we only used our RV restroom and had to dumb after 24 hours (again our 1st trip so we didn’t know how small our tanks were). Cell service for Verizon was non existent.
We would return

#17 is Very nice pad for 35’. Was able to get level without blocks. Can see the lake through the trees. 2 min walk to lake. Nice 3 mile hiking trail from near the bath house. Sites are spacious with fire ring and bbq. Not close together. Just as everything should be. 50amp power and water. No sewer. Gravel and asphalt pad. Nice picnic table.

Friendly attendants upon entering.
The sites are very nice! Level, large with medal picnic tables and fire pit and grill. Partial hook ups w dump. A lot of nice trails but they have ants.
No ants at the camp sites though. Bathroom and showers were clean and well kept.
Beautiful fishing lake and swimming. We want to come here again with our boat!

You definitely need more than a 25' water hose on 90% of the sites. Friendly hosts at check-in. Quite a few long pads for larger rvs, #25 only needed 1 leveling block on one side. Some of the pads have slopes towards the front/roadside. Our spot was really private. We thought the best spots for large rigs would be 30, 5 and 25. When we were there, campground was only half full. 2-lane boat ramp and a nice beach area. Sherriff patrolled through park about twice/day.

This Georgia Power campground is well-maintained and very pleasant with shade at most sites. There’s a good trail system from the campground. Bathhouses are clean and showers are hot with good pressure. There’s also a free laundry.
#2 quite unlevel, but only site available fir July 4th weekend.
1 bar Verizon LTE from site, but adequate if not streaming.
3 tv channels over antenna, but two are Spanish and the other Korean
