This campground was a lovely surprise. I stopped here on my way north. The sites are very tidy elevated gravel pads for tent camping and many are right on the lake. There is a day use area with a designated swimming section and a boat ramp. The camp host was nice. I didn’t drive through the water/electric sites so I can’t speak to those. I would definitely stay here again. It is $9 w/o water and electric and $14 with.

Lake Sinclair park is a small, typical, somewhat neglected National Forest park. Self check in, one host. No rangers. Lake, boat ramp and beach were nice and well kept. Bathhouses less so. Some tent sites on the lake. There are 5 water and electric sites off the water. I stayed two nights at $10.50 a night with my old guy card. Thursday it was me and one tent. Friday they filled up the hookup suites. No cell service, 20 miles to anywhere. Nearest town is Eatonton and the Brer Rabbit museum. Great stop to avoid Atlanta heading north.

Private camp sites on the lake. No reservations allowed. Plenty of open sites when I was here.

Decent campground. Lake Sinclair had a nice view. Most of the camp sites are NOT on the water. Beach is a bit small and water was muddy so couldn’t go swimming. Overall decent and I’d stay again, possibly.

I saw two cars parked with a man and a girl in both cars . Kinda sketchy but the place is not bad for a one night stop.

Nice campground, self serve = good for late arrivals when other campgrounds are closed unexpectedly! Quiet area, clean bathrooms. Camp host seemed pleasant, some level parking in campsites, saw only a few other campers around.

Grounds looks very nice and lake area
I intended to stay at slake Sinclair for 8 nights, but after 1 night, I left. There are 5 water and electric sites, lallbfirst come first served. #2 was closed. #3 only had a 20 amp breaker, not enough to run ac during the heat wave. #4 had a very leaky water pump so that you needed to fill fresh water tank rather than use water direct from pump. #5 water pump totally broken. So that left #1 as only fully useable hook up site. None were level. These 5 are in loop A which backs up to road to boat ramp so you hear a constant flow trucks and boat trailers gunning by on a weekend. There is one trail from camp, but it is very poorly maintained and got impassible after 1.25 mi. I did not look at tent loops.
No Verizon from Loop A. Boat ramp has adequate reception.
