“Journey Back in Time”
The National Canal Museum is the only museum in the country dedicated to telling the story of America’s historic towpath canals. The museum features four galleries filled with hands-on exhibits that educate and entertain parents and children alike. Journey back in time to over a century ago and experience life as a Canaller. Canallers where the men, women and children who lived and worked on the canals. Learn to harness a mule and steer a boat! Discover how Canallers used simple machines like levers and pulleys to make their job easier.
