Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on August 29, 2021Nice, open campsite with a picnic table and fire ring. The pathway from Laurel Run Rd to access the campsite is at a sharp angle with the road. Some elect to arrive from the north and then back down the pathway but would be challenging with out a spotter. I drove past and turned around at S4(largest and flattest campsite on Laurel Run rd) and drove down the the campsite with put me in a difficult turnaround situation with my SUV and 18 foot trailer. A friendly ranger came and spotted me as I turned around. Otherwise a very good stay, campsite is on a slight slope but manageable. Nice, quiet area a short drive from many popular hikes.
