Has great views, great location, full hookups and large Rv spots (like extra large). It is obviously a campground still being developed, not all sites are complete, there are no amenities (as of Jul 2023). We were offered complementary laundry done by someone offsite (not my thing, but thought it was nice). Sites are on a hill, so you will need to level up, also sewage is up hill, we had to use the ramps to keep the drainage going downhill. Starlink has clear unobstructed view of the Montana sky. Phones work for calling not data (Verizon). We would stay again, but hopefully they will have more as the years come along.

This is a tough review to write, because Glacier Grizzly decided to open before the park was really finished. If you come back next year, you might have an entirely different and better impression. And I hate to leave a generally negative review for a new business--but at the same time, because I feel their website does not accurately represent the current state of the park, other potential customers deserve to know what to actually expect.

First, the positives: this park will dramatically increase RV camping availability on the east side of Glacier National Park, which is sorely needed. Great location. The sites are extremely wide (about 40'), and there are plenty of them.

Now, the negatives. First of all, this park is by no means a "resort", at least not yet. Other than full hookups in the sites and a bathhouse with two rooms, there are NO amenities at all. There is not even an office yet--it's still under construction. Consequently, there is no on-site staff, unless you can flag down one of the workers. Most of the sites do not have picnic tables. A few have fire pits, but these are literally pits dug into the dirt.

The entire park is dirt and gravel. There's lots of dust and not much else. No landscaping, at least as of yet. The park is very much still under construction. In addition to the office building, road grading was still going on (there was heavy equipment in the park) and some sewer connections were still being finished.

All electric hookups--at least on our pedestal and all the others we looked at--are 30 and 20 amps. True, that's usually enough in this part of the country, but if you're building a brand-new park, why wouldn't you put in 50A pedestals--especially with a warming climate and more all-electric rigs being produced?

Although most of the sites appear to be 40-50' long as advertised, the interior roads between sites are only about 20' wide. This will be a major problem for big rigs--especially fifth wheels--when the park is more fully occupied: if the spot directly across the road from your site contains another big rig, you will have difficulty getting your truck hitched and unhitched. The way the roads have been graded, there is also a sharp drop-off and/or a small ditch from the road to the site as you pull into it. Long RVs may find that they drag their back ends through the dirt while pulling into their site, especially if they have bikes or other toys mounted on the back.

Overall, I think the owners would have been better off waiting to open until the park was actually done--or alternatively, they could have offered "pre-opening" discounts. But as it stands right now, the park cannot justify the prices they're charging.

Just stayed 4 night, we checked out on July 14. We're long time RVrs and we are surprised and like the 50 feet wide RV sites.
Full service. Hooked up our 50 amp but never used our air conditioning. We had our heater on at night.
Had wifi.

We are just wrapping up a trip from Glacier National park and stayed on both sides to reduce driving. So I writing this post as a cautionary tale. Whatever you do, DO NOT stay at Glacier Grizzly RV.
We booked in Feb based on their website that stated they were all new resort with camp store, laundry facilities, 50 amp hookups, ADA bath house. In the last month or so they updated their website to say they were still under construction. We had an RV site and 2 Glamping Tipis reserved, 10 people total.
We contacted them the week before our scheduled arrival and Lori confirmed everything was good to go. (We had seen some recent reviews saying otherwise) We stopped by there the day before our arrival and met the owner Daniel, he told us to pick any spot we wanted when we come in, as some sites aren't complete yet, and that our Tipis were ready to go.
The next morning we moved our rig there, set it up, and tried to check into our Tipis.
1. We have a 50 amp rig with 2 a/c and the pedestal was 30 amp. They told me they had built a 50 amp converter they would put on the pedestal to make sure I had 2 hot legs 😳 (They never did this, so no clue what the contraption was)
2. We were told Tipis now weren't ready yet, needed to be cleaned from previous night.
I said that's fine, but asked for them to tell which ones were ours, due to it would be evening before we get back from the park. He said he would text it to me since we would be in park with no service, then I'd get the message when I got service again.
30 mins later I get a call from Lori because they were confused about the Tipis, but got that straightened out. She was confused because the tipis were under 2 different names. She said nothing about anything being wrong.
Later that evening when we come out of the park, I get a text saying they overbooked and now don't have our tipis, but they'll put us in a basic tipis (no floor, water, electric, or actual beds) for small discount, an older used 5th wheel and new smaller TT for no discount, or refund the tipis and we can go elsewhere.
Neither Daniel or Lori would answer our calls, so we canceled my Nephew's 18th bday dinner to go see what was going on. Daniel was actually in the campground when we got back (Usually no host, he just comes by randomly throughout the day). We discussed what had happened, he told me the electric was out in our tipis, so we couldn't stay in them, and they weren't overbooked. He eventually backed up and said they were overbooked after I told him I could see the lights on and people in the tipis. We told him we wanted full refund on 1 tipi because my SIL would stay with us, and asked for a discount for the hassle of staying in his rv 1 night, then having to packup next morning and haul it all day until he decided where to put us. He told me he wouldn't discuss it until tomorrow. From here it evolved into an argument between both of us that ended with him throwing his truck in gear, saying he's not talking about it anymore, as he peeled out and threw gravel all over my truck as he left.
I later texted him and Lori both and told them both we wanted to take the full refund on both Tipis that they offered. We have yet to receive a response, though messages have been read, and Daniel never came back to talk to us the next evening.
So we packed 10 people in camper our 2 nights there and have not got our refunds yet.

Do not stay at the Glacier Grizzly campground. The website makes it sound good but it is nothing like the website describes. It is a big muddy mess. It is still under construction and construction seems to have halted. According to one worker, they are not getting paid so work has halted. There is no 50 amp service at any site despite what it says on the website. The photos on their website are not from the campground. There is no mountain view. There is no water feature. There are positive reviews of this CG but they are all dated January 2023 however he CG did not open until June.
We arrived there with family in another RV. There was only one other camper there and they were upset too. There was no owner/manager/attendant on site. Lori, the contact person on the phone insisted there was 50 amp service and finally offered to send someone out to show us. She seemed surprised in the end to hear there was no 50 amp. The worker offered to hotwire the pedestal to get us 50 amps. No thanks!
We could not stay there, obviously, and despite saying they would refund our money, it’s been over six weeks and no refund. They don’t take my phone calls. They don’t respond to my emails. So many review are the same as ours.

Location, location, location. The location is great. Easy access to several prime Glacier locations but don't expect anything more. The place is still under construction and the wind is so bad that some evenings we had to roll in our slides because it was scary how hard the motorhome was shaking. No one would mistakingly call this a resort but the location makes up for the bad parts. Don't believe the website, believe the reviews. Keep your expectations very low and you will be fine.

Met the owner of the park when we drove in, and we were able to pick a large site next to our friends. We liked that.
Caught some Trout at the creek.
Had a great trip.

We have stayed for a few nights over the 4th of July, 2023 at this place to visit Glacier National Park. The only good about this place is that the campground (not a resort by far) is relatively close to the East side entrance of the park (~20 miles). There are really not many choices to camp on the East side of the Glacier National Park, but I strongly recommend KOA St. Mary's over Glacier Grizzly campground if you are able to find availability at KOA. The pictures on Glacier Grizzly's website do keep changing constantly and most of the pictures are taken of some other places and not theirs. I am attaching few pictures of what it is really over there. The place is all gravel with water, sewer and electric hookups. They used to advertise 50amp hookups (they have stopped doing so since), but there were only 30amp hookups available at the time of our stay and I really doubt anything changed since. The sites are indeed fairly spacious, though fire pits are simply hole dugouts in the gravel. There was only one, recently built shower house available for the whole campground (2 showers and 2 toilets), but upkeep of it was lacking - no toilet paper, no hand soap, no way to dry your hands after using a restroom, nobody cleaned shower house during our entire stay! As an icing on the cake, one of the toilets got clogged and nobody had bothered taking care of it for a few days. Furthermore, there were only a couple locations for a garbage disposal that were overflowing with garbage. For around $130/night, we have definitely expected more. All the negative reviews are fairly accurate about the campground and the service (or lack of the service) provided.
