“Everything to make your camping experience something you will never forget”
Hi-Pines has everything to make your camping experience something you will never forget. We are located on 75 beautiful, wooded acres within 2 miles of famous downtown Eagle River. This makes us close to all that Eagle River has to offer, but secluded enough for you to get away from it all. We strive to maintain the perfect balance of offering tons of fun amenities and things to do while keeping the tranquil feel and peacefulness of the great Northern Wisconsin forests. Our goal is to provide camping activities and an atmosphere that appeal to the entire family and give everyone something special to enjoy!

Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on July 27, 2023We really enjoyed our stay here. There is a ton of activities for the kids, including a super fun huge bouncing cushion, trampoline, bouncy castle and nice playground.
The pond is also really fun because of all the inflatable toys they have to climb on. However, I hope you aren't squeamish with leeches because there are a bunch in there.
Our site was HUGE and it was great to let the kids run around. There doesn't seem to be much going on during the week at this park, but the weekend was packed with people (although we left before the weekend festivities).
My only real complaint was the mosquitos (especially at dusk), but it's to be expected with the proximity of the pond.
They had nice clean public showers. Great WiFi (although we were right next to the WiFi antenna and didn't have a lot of people at the park when we were there). The employees were all really friendly and a pleasure to deal with.
Some of the sights seem pretty unlevel, but ours was great. I suppose you can chat with them when you make a booking and I'm sure they will give you a suitable spot. One last note, the price we paid was for passport America for 30 amp with water/electric only.

Stayed last year in Aug (2021) catching up on reviews.
THE GOOD
Friendly staff.
Location: Lots of tall trees lining the campground so feels like being in the woods a bit, which is really nice.
Location: Close to gas, food, and groceries (about 10 min)
Sites: Had a back-in site. Very long site with lots of space.
Facilities: Laundry was clean and nice.
Office/Store: Nice store with ice cream and the things you might need.
Activities: They do a lot for families and kids so there is a really positive vibe at this campground.
THE BAD
Site: All grass and not level. Had to dump up hill quite a bit which is problematic. In short, the sites are more on the level of a very basic state park site quality, but with full hookups.
Website: The website is stuck in the 90s so don't let that deter you from booking.

NOT GOOD OR BAD:
Cell service: Neither Verizon nor AT&T were all that good. You can make calls and use hotspots for very light work if needed.
