East Fork Campground and Horse Stables

Large sites, several of which are on the Greenbriar River. All sites have H20 and electricity, most sites not on the river also have sewer. There are two wifi hubs which support wifi calling and surfing, probably not Netflix. There is NO CELL SERVICE OF ANY KIND for miles and miles. The campground has recently added a nice bathhouse and playground. It is located directly behind the Train Depot, but the trains are tourist trains and only run occasionally DURING THE DAY. Beware, you are truly in there sticks at this campground, sizable stores and gas stations are 35 twisty miles away. PLAN before coming.

Most beautiful campground! We camped on the river and could not have had a better view. The grounds were super clean as was the bath house. The owners were friendly and accommodating when we called somewhat last minute. We were able to stay two nights, and had a wonderful time. The kids especially loved seeing the crawfish in the river and skipping rocks. It was right outside of our camper door so it was nice to be able to see them while I cooked and did other things. They train station was just on the other side of our RV, and made for a beautiful view. We took a train ride our last morning there and enjoyed that as well. I highly recommend this campground and would love to come back. Thank you to the owners for providing such a wonderful, family place to camp.
