“Entrance to the Netherworld”
This location got its nickname because of the massive gates painted blood red, that barred people from entering a long and winding gravel road. The myth of the Red Gate to Hell begins with a mentally unstable father who owned a huge estate beyond the iron gates. Sometime during the 1950's he supposedly killed his wife and childeren in a fit of rage, before turning the gun on himself. Many who have visited the Red Gates tell stories of their cars staling on the road, and of hearing horrible screams coming from beyond the dark and winding road. There have been many rumors of cult activity, and even reports of a thrill-seeker being chased by a group of people in black hoods.
