Confirmed by 5 users | Last reported on June 27, 2021This campground has a nice location along the creek, with well spaced sites, good hookups and clean bathrooms. Convenient location to Marsh Creek SP for fishing, hiking and running. Property has fishing available in the creek and a separate pond. They have a pool, but was not open when we stayed. Good mix of seasonal campers and shorter term. All sites were well maintained.

This is a very nice campground quite close to civilization close to Philadelphia. The highways are busy and it is nice to find a quiet place where the road next to the campground is not that busy. Found the bathrooms and showers to be excellent and clean. Many campers appear to be here on a long term and the short term area is quite good and clean and accessible to hookups with no issues. There has been a lot of rain during the last few days and the drainage is manageable probably having a creek close by helps.
Cell service is quite good and responsive.
Well recommended place to visit

Just 30 minutes from Valley Forge and 20 from shopping. Nestled in a little spot near small river.
There is mostly season spots and a lot are back in and a few pull throughs. Spots are gravel and level. Nice pool area and playground. Laundry has two washers and two dryers. Showers are combo shower and toilets.
WiFi is good/no cable but antenna reception good/satellite is tough.
******Beware****** when coming in on highway 282/Creek Road it is very narrow with low hanging trees and trees right up to road edge. Just take it slow with larger rigs or fivers.

Stayed here for a couple of nights with in a fifth wheel. Site 48 was a pull through and very roomy.
Navigating into and out of campground - important to follow directions on their website - DO NOT blindly follow GPS.

Several workers and seasonal campers. Those sites were mostly well kept. No problems with noise in the evenings. No highway noise. The sites were gravel with some grass and mostly level. Restrooms and showers were ok but very musty.
While we were gone, the management directed another 5th wheel to park right in front of us. They were too close for us to hook up, so they had to move so we could hook up and leave.

We took 3 grandkids on a short tour from Gettysburg to Deleware Beach. Grandson wanted to visit Longwood Gardens and we put him in charge of finding the campground close to the Gardens. This is not the closest to the Gardens but probably the best. There are a lot of permanent sites but they are well maintained. Our campsite was a large pull through with a picnic table and a fire ring. The grandkids and grandpap got good use out of the swimming pool which was clean and warm. Because of COVID the community building and the showers were closed but with a peek they looked pretty nice. The "permanents" were nice and we all social distanced. Gravel road in campground gave the kids some time riding the loops on their bicycles. There was playground things to do but we didn't pay much attention to that or how much cell service there was. Our visit to Longwood Gardens was very HOT but the creek next to the campground and the cover from the trees made it a pretty comfy stay. We would definitely go back there with or without grandkids. The only drawback, do NOT use GPS getting in there. Low branches on the way to the campground. Follow the owner's directions. Also, communication with the owner was very good.

We stayed at this campground while visiting Philadelphia. There is a regional train in Downingtown that made it very convenient to go to Philadelphia. The campground was very quiet and the people there were extremely friendly. The road from 322 to the campground was a bit tight with tree branches low and close to the road, but we just slowed down a bit and it wasn't too bad.

I see a lot of reviews, and quite frankly I don’t understand what some people complain about. The owner, Carmen, greeted us when we arrived. Got us squared away right away, the site is beautiful, surrounded by 130 year old red and white oaks, There’s not a speck of garbage, at night it is dark you can see the stars and it is very quiet.
There was a certain type of person that lives the RV Lifestyle. If you’re one of us, you’ll be very happy here. I mean what are you looking for? To be entertained by a clown? I would recommend this park to anyone

The park is located along a very picturesque narrow winding road (Big Rig friendly just be careful). There is pavement all the way including inside the park. Signage is a little on the small side and you don’t see it until you are on top of it.. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic.
Our site, 45, was a gravel pull through that was plenty long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30 amp, water and sewer only) were to the left side. Our sewer connection was a little on the high side but still usable. Distancing is not bad for a rural park. Some sites had a vegetation privacy barrier. Each site has a table and a fire pit. Our site was flat and even. Overall the park was well manicured
The park included wifi worked well. There is no cable TV but we were able to find some OTA channels but reception was very spotty. Satellite might be difficult in some site because of trees We did not use the washrooms or showers but we checked and found them dated but clean the same for the laundromat.
A good sized pool is available (in season) as well as a playground, basket ball court etc. There is a very pretty creek running along side the property. This is a very quiet and relaxing park.
There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but just a short drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. We paid 55.00 per night and we feel we received fair value. We will be back if in the area again.
