Don Q Inn

They have standard rooms, but their kitschy and quirky fantasy suites are really the reason to stay here...from the moon-themed room to the cave-themed room and everything in between, this place is totally awesome

I am currently in this hotel while I am writing this review and main word that I have to use is it is unique. It is not like any stay I have ever experienced the staff seem friendly and it is quite clean but this fantasy hotel doesn’t seem just for kids. I would definitely come again but I would only recommend if you like odd/creepy places. I’ve heard neighbors moaning and there are mirrors EVERYWHERE in my room (including above the bed). Quite the trip.

Smells really weird and it doesn’t go away. The pool tables about to fall over and the floor doesn’t feel quite right in certain spots. It has a creepy feeling about it and it’s very outdated. The pool was nice. The planes probably the coolest part about it.

Interesting hotel. Booked a regular room. Clean and large. Mirror over the bed was a bit jolting. Great room especially for the price. Indoor/outdoor pool and jacuzzi were fun. Plane out front was worth a look and couple photos! Took a walk through the tunnel connecting the hotel and restaurant....kinda creepy but worth a walk through and a laugh. Service was great. Breakfast provided was sufficient...cereal, bagels, coffee, etc. Would recommend.

We came through on a Monday, so we didn't get to see a theme room but the lobby is impressive itself. Most of the chairs are barber chairs/dentist chairs with a huge circular fireplace in the center. The receptionist did show us a standard room. It's kind of like walking right into 1974--nothing has changed since it opened. It's some combination of really awesome, really kitschy and really creepy.
