“spacious & secluded sites available”
Bass Lake is a recently re-furbished campground, under new ownership, we have installed new bath houses, laundry room and site office with a shop. We have pull through 20, 30 & 50 amp sites all with full services and can accommodate larger RV’s. There are open spaces and more secluded areas in the trees, depending on your preference of stay. If you prefer the primitive camping we have lovely grassed area overlooking the lake, where you can pitch your tent, have a BBQ, campfire and take it easy. There is free wi fi internet connection for all resident.

Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on December 01, 2021For $18 per night with a Passport America discount, it's pretty great. This campground is located right off 95 , so it's very convenient if your traveling up or down the east coast. When we visited, it looked like it was about 1/3 full, and they were nice enough to space campers out, so folks weren't right on top of each other. We could definitely hear a bit of road noise, but nothing terrible. The guy who checked us in was very friendly and showed us to our site. If I had to pay full freight for it, I probably would have knocked a star off. But given the very reasonable discounted price, we were happy with our decision to stay there.

Campground was very easy to find. Easy on and off I-95.
We just stayed as we were passing through. It is perfect for that kind of stop. There was a lot of road noise, but worked for our one night.
We stayed in the area with water and electric only. It was grassy area with campsites throughout. The space for each RV was very large. Campground easily handle big rigs. There was plenty of room in our site for the truck, 5th wheel and jeep. Sites are all very level.
Good Verizon coverage. It was very easy to get DirecTV satellite. We would definitely stop here again.

We concur with the other reviews – convenient, clean, and friendly. Had a cheerful welcome, despite the owners just recovering for an unusual 6" snowfall and broken water pipes the week before. We could hear I-95 traffic, but our windows were closed and it sounded much like white noise. We stayed here in January.

our first stay here was last November. We left our fifth wheel in storage for the next 4 months. We were back this Friday, March 22nd. we are very satisfied with our stay. The owner is really nice. You can take a nice walk around the lake. the wifi is good. Services, like the grocery store, are nearby. The only inconvenient is that it is noisy, but it is the disadvantage of the quality.

I stayed at Bass Lake Campground for 2 nights on my way to Florida. Using my Passport America discount made the 2 night stay very very reasonable. I got a pull through grass site so parking was super easy. The owner is super friendly and very helpful if you were to need anything. It's very close to I95 so very easy to get to. Others have posted highway noise but I didn't hear any at all. I would stay here again if ever to pass through the area. I got excellent cell and Jet Pack reception using a Weboost WiFi system for streaming TV.

Basic campground good for overnight. Overnight sites are grass with no shade. Even with heavy thunderstorms the previous night grass site was dry and firm. All hookups worked well. ATT cell coverage good. No wifi that I could get. Pleasant owner, led me to site. Quiet enough for overnight even though close to I-95. I would stay again for overnight.

stayed for 2 weeks in March 2021. Under new ownership as of about 6 months ago. Very friendly people. Most sites are pull through full hookup and fairly spacious, although the sites in row D seemed to be on the smaller side. right next to I-95 and the town a few minutes away has everything you need. The noise from the highway isn't terrible, but the noise from Dillon Speedway (about 1/2 mile as the crow flies) can be a bit much depending on what they are racing. The horns from the trains at night also carries depending on the weather. If you have music or TV on you won't notice any of it too much. The pond is fairly big and has some good size bass in it.

We stayed here for a week to catch up on our laundry and take a break from traveling. The laundry room has 2 washers and 2 dryers. I used them all and had no problems (the right hand dryer is a bit more efficient). The office staff sold me quarters (the machines all take 1.50). The "Lake" is kind of smallish, but, I was told you can fish it and with no license because, it's private. They are doing some improvements all around so there will likely be some new amenities coming in the future. There is a shower/ restroom attached to the laundry, and it looks very clean. I didn't go in. The place is right off the interstate, and our section was all pull through. I think they actually made a space for us, but, from what I saw, they try to help people out when they can (as far as making a spot). There is room to walk the dog, but, there is no designated dog area (or waste bags). We would stay here again.

We stayed at Bass Lake one night, just passing through. Very nice small campground. Facilites clean, office staff very helpful. Walking trail around small lake. We had dinner at High Cotton Sports Grill which was recommended by staff and was good. We would stay again.

We intended to stay one night, but poor weather going toward our next destination, made it necessary to spend an extra night. Owner was very accommodating and we spent two nights. This is a nice campground, easy in and out, average spots, no concrete, mostly sandy soil. The shower house is a show piece among campgrounds. We have travelled all over the Country and these are head and shoulders above any we have ever seen. Highway noise is elevated more than most being very near I-95. That also makes this a great overnight spot. Excellent Wi-Fi and TV signals. Verizon cell signal is 5g, 3-5 bars. Looks sketchy going in, but quiet and safe. Hidden gem.
