It has a lot of people staying long term here and those sites are with electricity and packed in really tight. Looks like some may have been there for years. There were a few electric sites that were pull thru that they have for short term stays. We took a non electric "tent" site since we have solar for only $15 a night and had a plenty of room. It is pretty heavily wooded so solar wasn't great. There is $1.50 washers and dryers and $1 7 minute showers that were okay. There are plenty of water spigots to fill at and a dump. They also have a small store with snacks, wood, and propane available.
It is right on the Black River with a boat ramp and dock so its easy to go for a paddle or boat ride down stream of the camp any time, might not want to swim here, water is a bit funky since its at the end of the river, seemed a bit polluted. There is a dam just above the campsite which stops you from going up stream. We stopped here so I could do some class III whitewater kayaking which would have been easy enough, put in is 7 miles upstream in Watertown. I was unable to go do to it being a dam release river that makes it only fun if they are releasing water. They only release on certain days which we missed. So if you want to raft or kayak rapids look into the release schedule which is only Sat and Sun this time of year. There are a few dams and spillways that can make it tricky to know the run and stop you from floating right back to camp. Otherwise it didn't seem like a lot to do right here this time of year. Watertown was pretty quiet and not appealing to us.
Cell reception was great for Verizon and AT&T was ok.
