“Stay away from the standpipe”

The Dexter Historical Society has three museum buildings: the Grist Mill, the Millers House and the one-room Carr School. They are open daily from June to September. Research and genealogy services available year-round. Dexter also happens to be the closest approximation of Derry, Maine--a fictional location in American Author, Stephen King's works. Such books as "It," "Dreamcatcher,"  and "Insomnia" feature Derry to some degree. P.S. I duly apologize for not italicizing the titles of the previous novels!
