“over 80 acres & 20 historic buildings preserved”
What was a dream turned into reality when in 1966 Mrs. Charles Mansfield, in memory of her late husband, donated the funds that were used to purchase the first 40 acres that held the large red barn now known as the Mansfield Museum/ Street of Shops. Over the coming years another 80 acres were added along with over 20 buildings to become Auglaize Village. Numerous buildings have been built by the volunteers or moved from their orginial building sites with several more being planned for the Village.
